A automotive industry system major supplier entrusted us with the industrialization of a valve body for a water pump, which had previously been made by turning, by means of a brass deep-drawing. The objective was to reduce production costs without compromising the technical specifications of the component.

Co-design for automotive cold forming.

Through a co-design process, our technical department analysed the geometry of the component and simplified the design to make it compatible with cold forming on a transfer press, without altering its functionality.
