As a company, we have been specialising in cold-working metals for over fifty years. We manufacture components on order for companies looking for a technical partner, not a simple supplier.

Sifral was founded in Lumezzane in 1968 and since then it has been producing third-party metal components by cold forming sheet metal. We process stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper and aluminum, always according to customer’s drawing and with moulds designed and manufactured in-house. Our process is integrated – from co-design to delivery – and it is designed for companies that need consistent quality, time-saving and a partner who really knows cold metal forming.

Our history, from 1968 to date.

1968

Our beginnings.

Saverio Simonelli established Sifral snc in Lumezzane, in Via De Giacomi. This marked the establishment of a company specialising in the production of metal components for handles.

1986

The dawn of second generation.

The Simonelli family grew when the second generation stepped into the limelight. The company grew and strengthened its presence in the metalworking industry.

1994

Room for growth.

New 4,000 sqm production site in Via Ruca, Lumezzane. A major step to support an increasingly ambitious production capacity.

1999

New fields of operation.

Sifral acquired BBL, a company specialising in metal deep-drawing. An incorporation that expanded the know-how, equipment and range of processes available.

2003

The plant grew two-fold.

The production site grew to a total of 8,000 square metres. More space, more capacity, same focus on quality.

2013

The dawn of third generation.

The third generation of the Simonelli family joined the company. New energy, new vision, same commitment to customers and quality.

2015

Focus on people.

To confirm her focus on people, Sifral became a founding member of WELSTEP, a pioneer network in corporate welfare as an integral part of internal culture.

Today

Continued growth.
