A multinational company had launched an innovative coupling that included a serrated ferrule with unique mechanical features. No other manufacturer of stainless steel fittings had achieved this – too complex for standard sheet metal processes.

An unique mould design.

Our technical department took up the challenge by redesigning the component mould from scratch, combining shearing, bending, and punching sections into a single process. At the same time, we carried out an in-depth analysis of the right raw material to meet the customer’s stringent mechanical specifications.

The result: a ferrule deemed impossible to make.
